CAN I ORDER A PIECE FROM YOUR COLLECTION LARGER THAN YOU CURRENTLY OFFER?

Certainly, Golden Butterfly Studios would be more than happy to create any of our designs in a size larger for you than what we currently have available and offer through our website. To request a size larger on any of our currently available designs, please contact us with details regarding the design(s) and overall dimensions of the piece(s) you'd like to request to be made specific for you. Please note that a 50% downpayment of your invoice will be required prior to us starting any level of work on the piece(s) you requested.

CAN I GET A PIECE FROM YOUR CURRENT COLLECTION CUSTOMIZED?

Yes, all of the pieces in our current collections can be personally customized. Some of the standard levels of customization we offer include, but are not limited to: 

 

• Offering clientele to choose the level of custom color options they want for their piece

• Offering clientele the opportunity to include a custom engraved plaque along with the piece they choose

WHAT LEVEL OF DESIGNS CAN I GET CUSTOMIZED?

At Golden Butterfly Studios, there is no limit to the level of designs you can have custom created. The way that we begin any custom order is through first analyzing the design that you want made and the level of its intricacies and details. Throughout the years we have been blessed to work on creating many different levels and styles of designs, including but not limited to:

HOW LARGE OF A PIECE CAN I GET CUSTOMIZED?

Golden Butterfly Studios does not limit our clients to the overall size of the pieces they can custom order through us. Custom orders can be ordered within the parameters of the available sizes that we offer on all pieces through our website, or custom orders can be ordered to the size and specifications of your choice and needs.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY CUSTOM PIECE TO BE MADE?

 

The amount of time that it takes to complete a custom order depends on two main factors --- the overall size of the piece, and the complexity of the design. The larger a piece is and the more complex its design, the longer the time it will take to complete. Small custom orders may take anywhere from a few days or weeks, while larger custom pieces may take a few months to complete. When a client requests a custom order, we provide an overall estimation on the amount of time it will take to complete the order. Our clients are consistently sent progress updates through each phase of the custom order process as well as to assure their satisfaction.

HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF THE PIECE I BOUGHT?

​

Every piece we create is placed within a high quality wood shadow box that includes a protective glass cover. Please do not expose the piece/shadow box to any areas of high moisture, humidity, or fluxes of temperature — as this may lead to a deterioration of the wood as well as possible condensation within the box itself. To clean off any dirt/dust that may accumulate on the glass of the shadowbox, we advise using a lens cleaner solution and a microfiber cloth. Do not apply hard pressure on glass while cleaning, as this may crack or dislocate the glass. We do not advise the use of any glass cleaning solutions (i.e. Windex) as this may lead to blemishes on the glass and possible staining and discoloration of the wood of the shadow box.
